What a nice father and son trick-or-treating moment during Halloween. Master Chief is always so serious in the Halo video games. It's nice to see him out of his element.
Although, it does look like this dad put more work into his Master Chief costume than his sons. At least he is letting his son carry that bad ass assault rifle.

Gum on the bottom of a shoe Halloween costume; clever. This is probably ranks up there as one of the cheapest homemade costumes you can come up with.
That is if you have a sweatshirt the color of a gum brand.
Unfortunately, I do not. Not red for Big Red or green for Wrigley's Spearmint. I do however have a brown sweatshirt. Which means, instead of gum I can go as the ultimate thing you don't want stuck on the bottom of your shoe....POOP!

Chances are if you are allowed to wear these Dumb and Dumber tuxedos to your prom or other formal event your date is your best friend. Just like Harry Dunne and Lloyd Christmas. If it isn't' then you've found yourself an awsome date.
These tuxedos are great because they give you an excuse to break out into a cane fight. Plus, you can save money on the limo and drive around on a scooter instead.
Phoenix Jones is just your typical Seattle citizen. If your definition of "typical citizen" is someone who dresses in a superhero costume and patrols the streets with a Taser nightstick.
Phoenix Jones is part of the vigilante Rain City Superhero justice movement. A group of superheroes that patrols the streets of Seattle. The group also includes Buster Doe, Thorn, Green Reaper, Gemini, No Name, Catastrophe, Thunder 88 and Penelope. All with their own superhero costume.
Below is a video of one of the crimes he was able to prevent.
He totally gave away his secret lair entrance. Isn't superhero rule #1: DON'T give away the location of your secret lair? It's at least rule #2.
Sadly, several days after this story aired, Phoenix Jones' nose was broken while being threatened at gunpoint. Crime definitely wasn't sleepless that night.

Thanks to Laura for sending in her homemade ostrich jockey costume. She constructed it using paper mache, an inner tube pool toy, feathers, paint, a slinky, and a few pairs of tights.
